The Ag Rector who made this assertion on Monday, October 15, 2018 during a Rector-Staff Forum said staff welfare shall be an integral part of his team cardinal points. He called on the staff to change their attitude to work as that is the only way to appreciate the restructuring that Government through the Governing Council is carrying out in the overall interest of the Institution.
The Ag. Rector also warned the members of staff to shun all forms of debauchery, sexual molestation, harassment, exploitation, fraud, rumour mongering and other vices capable of throwing the Institution into disrepute because the Management under his watch will not condoned anybody to constitute a cog in the wheel of the collective good of the Institution and the redemption of its already battered image.
Mr. Ogundahunsi also noted that all members of the Polytechnic Community have the collective responsibility to take the Institution out of the woods to global limelight.
While responding to comments from member of staff among whom are the Chairman of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), Mr. Rafiu Ijawoye and his counterpart from the Non Academic Staff Union (NASU), Mr. Bayo Obayoriade, the Ag. Rector promised to make a difference and called on the entire staff to give him a chance.
In attendance at the Forum are: Dr (Engr) S. A. Alagha (Deputy Rector), Mr. Sule Atiku (Ag. Registrar), Mr. M. A. Adejuwon (Bursar), Mrs F. R. Aladeniyi (Coordinator of Library Services), Engr. B. O. Ajayi (Chairman Committee of Deans), Deans of Faculties, Directors of Directorates and other distinguished members of the Polytechnic Community.
