This is to inform the general public that the admission into the National Diploma and Higher National Diploma programmes of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo is still on-going. We are therefore using this medium to inform all and sundry that the cut-off point of the Polytechnic is now one hundred and twenty (120) marks. Consequently, all interested candidates are free to apply for admission into the Polytechnic through the Portal of the Institution for its Post UTME. In addition, such candidates are enjoined to do change of Institution and also upload their O'level results on the JAMB CAPS for proper placement. Meanwhile, sale of application forms for National Diploma part-time and Higher National Diploma (fulltime and part-time) programmes has been extended till Friday, 25th January, 2019.

Candidates who have been offered provisional admission and have not uploaded their
O' Level Results with JAMB are enjoined to visit caps.jamb.gov.ng (JAMB CAPS ) for proper placement.
Meanwhile, 2nd Batch POST UTME SCREENING EXAMS comes up on TUESDAY DECEMBER 4, 2018 at 8:00am in the ICT Building. Kindly bring along with you while coming for the exam, the ORIGINAL COPIES of your JAMB and O' Level Results. Please be punctual.
Rufus Giwa Polytechnic which was formerly known and addressed as "The Ondo State Polytechnic,Owo" was established in 1979 while it commenced activities in January 1980. The primary mandate of the Institution as concieved by the Ondo State Government being its proprietor stillremains of middle-level manpower in Science and Technology related fields of study as part of efforts aimed at an effective development of Technology in Ondo State in particular and Nigeria in general.

The Governing Board of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo has appointed Mr. Ogundahunsi Gani Adebola as the Acting Rector of the Institution.
The Governing Council of Rufus Giwa Polytechnic, Owo, has approved the appointment of Dr. (Engr) Samuel Alagha, a chief lecturer in the department of Agricultural and Bio-Environmental Engineering Technology as the new Deputy Rector of the Institution.
